Funky Dodo Limited – Cancellation & Refund Policy

Notice Period

  • More than 14 days before check-in:
    Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the check-in date are eligible for a refund of any prepaid balance, minus a 15% cancellation fee based on the total booking amount.

  • Between 14 and 7 days before check-in:
    Cancellations made within this window will result in a 50% forfeiture of the total booking amount.

  • Within 7 days of check-in:
    Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date will result in 100% forfeiture of the total booking amount. No refund will be issued under any circumstances.

  • No-shows:
    Treated as cancellations within 7 days and are non-refundable.


Refunds

  • Processing Time:
    Where applicable, refunds will be processed within 21 business days from the date written cancellation notice is received.

  • Method of Refund:
    Refunds will only be issued via the original payment method used for the booking.

  • Applicable Deductions:
    All refunds are subject to cancellation fees as outlined above.


Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond the control of Funky Dodo Limited — including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or civil unrest:

  • The standard cancellation policy will remain in effect.

  • At its sole discretion, Funky Dodo Limited may offer a credit or a rescheduled booking.

  • Cash refunds are not guaranteed for force majeure events.


Cancellation by Funky Dodo Limited

In the rare event that Funky Dodo Limited must cancel a confirmed booking:

  • Guests will receive either:
    a) A full refund of all amounts paid, or
    b) An offer for an alternative property of equal or higher value (subject to Guest acceptance).

  • Liability Limitation:
    Funky Dodo Limited’s liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Guest for the reservation. No additional compensation or damages will be payable.
